Yahoo/Google Redirect

No sir. I receive the same error.
I rebooted my computer, unplugged the router during the time to truly reset the settings. Then reset computer again. Still receive the same error from MBAM

change dns settings

When done, reboot and then repeat the previous task again and post back the log.

Hi,

That test shows router wasn't reseted properly earlier. How did you do the resetting?
 
There is a red button on the back that says Restore Factory Settings

I will do that again and log in to the router and try to do it there too

I will post back with results. May be a day or two.

I reset my wireless Netgear Router...but I wonder if my cable router is messed up too? That I don't know how to restore the factory settings on.
 
Hi,

What is your cable router model? Could you test connection by plugging system in question directly to cable router? If problem exists without Netgear too then problem is likely in cable router settings.

There seems to be no more redirect. However, is there a log anything that can be run to verify it. I haven't been on-line much this past week to verify it so I'm hoping it's just not in hiding somewhere.

Is redirecting issue gone with both cable router only and cable router+ netgear router combinations or only with the first mentioned?
