Spybot - S&D uninstalls automatically??

I purchased the Spybot and installed it then registered it, ran scans several times last week. Three times this week I have started my PC and the Icon on desktop, tray, & menu is gone. Control Panel & add/remove does not show it also. I have re-installed it & registered it three time this week. Does anyone have a clue why it is disappering from my PC automatically. I have Win XP Home, with SP2. I run
Avast (AV), Regestry Mechanic, MS Firewall.. Thanks for any help you have..

Thanks for the reply. You was right. This was on a friends PC and she told me what was happening, so when I got to look at her PC today, she had downloaded SpywareBot. I un-installed it and installed the Spybot S&D and things are workin fine now. Still don't know why the other disappered like it did, unless Registery Mechanic removed something from Reg Files?? Thanks again.
