Just kiddin'. It's actually fun spending my time here... I like this community. But I wonder how tashi and the others do... because they work at multiple forums. O.o

on these forums. but haha, if i spent most of my time here, i'd go nutz lol jk. I'm on these forums mainly for the chance to learn how to help people with computers better, to kind of teach myself how to explain stuff to other people in a way they can understand it. Also i like to know more about the spybot program. Plus i like spybot!! haha. I'm really excited for the new program release that will be coming up!!

Hm. Spybot is alright. Problem is that there were potential conflicts with LavaSoft's AdAware.

Rogue "Spybots" are out there.

What's out there? We'll never knw (lols, sounds like X-Files).

i know the adaware issues will be fixed in future releases.....
 
On a AdAware 2008, I ran a full scan... detecting only 2 MRUs and nothing else. Scan was using 120MB of RAM. I run CCleaner prior to running any scans.

I was a iOlo user once. And man, did that s*ck. Some expensive optimizer that was. -.-
 
Yea, and I was furious. At that time in November 2007, before I joined, I went kind of OD on security during the Summer. Because I found out that I was outed in a majority of the software (Adobe Reader) and I had to firewall or AV. However, my computer back then (lols, in dial-up; Netzero) had no Zlob, Virtuemonde, or SmitFraud symptons.

I also had a problem will continuous slowdowns in my DSL connection. Had some dozen trouble tickets on the Verizon account until in March where everything was fine again.

Bad thing is that there is something wrong with my Java. I have Version 6 Update 6, however when I attempt to run HouseCall by TrendMicro, I canceled it. Why? Because Java told me that everything was fine except that the certificate expired. That means it'll run without the normal security restrictions provided by Java. Reformatted some time ago in April, and the problem persisted. Same goes for Secunia Online Scanner.

good list. why not talk about zonealarm? haha :crowned: I always have liked that firewall, comodo to me is way to annoying to use. I don't really like it. But your right, eventually i will have to get rid of zonealarm, unless they start with updates. Which they will soon, if not, i will prob buy just the pro firewall of zonealarm. But thats my opinion. :)

zone alarm just got an update, and i scanned with shields up, and it passed all tests!! :) haha just had to say it :)
 
Didn't know how drragostea got so many post..... well I'm a bit jealous u know haha jk.... By the way, will the post be deleted after it has been inactive for a long time? Becos I am schooling u see.... and I am having my Cambridge O Levels in like 3 months time and would not be visiting this forum until then. Posts in the Tavern that i have posted: "Vista SP1" and "XP SP3". I need the info inside to help me out.
 
ya they will be deleted after awhile

so copy and paste it all in word or something. Also, this is a test thing we are posting in now, which will be deleted every now and then, any time.
