About Virus Analysis

Does the Spybot labs have only Human Virus analysts? Are there any automatic machine virus analysts? May I know the reason for weekly updates? Do you higher any special malware submitter?

Most samples run through a series of automated tests first, where they get scanned, compared to others, cut into parts, and a bunch of other tasks. Even in winter, we usually don't need any radiators, machines all vor the place processing something provide sufficient "heating"

Weekly updates are... probably tradition We like to test updates on a bunch of inhouse machines in addition to the automated tests, and that testing costs some time.
