Download Error

When I go to download the updates and I hit the download updates button it says cannot open AVI. What is this error and how do I fix it.

Do you have Vista Transformation Pack installed?

As far as i know i am not running vista, im am running service pack 3, the same as my husband on his computer and he has no problems.
