how often spybot 1.4 can get database updates?

No database updates?

Hello,

I am running Spybot-S&D version 1.2 on a Win XP Pro machine. For the past year or so whenever I have started the program and tried to check for updates, I get the message that no updates are available. However, I find that difficult to believe since new spyware is being released all the time.'

So why does my copy of Spybot-S&D not download any updates and what can be done to fix this problem?

If you want to completely get rid of Spybot-S&D 1.4 (also earlier versions) and the Add/Remove doesn't help, you can delete the installation folder (usually C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\), then download this very small fix and execute it (important! - this will remove all remains from the registry) (this also applies to earlier versions).

However, the download ("small fix") is not an executable file. So how do I execute the REGEDIT code?

The Very Small Fix is a .reg file,so you can save it to the desktop,then doubleclick it.It will merge itself to the registry after you say yes to the prompt.

How to update Spybot 1.4?
after install i made update, and all was OK
now i always get - no newer updates available:thud:
the same thing hapens about 15days

what i am doing wrong?

i have 1.4 version but it is imposible to get updates, please can someone help me?:thud:

every weak

or is it monthly?

sorry for harsh word, i like spybot very much, but i am frustrated a lil bit :thud:

it seems to me that it is done one time in 9 days
