Spore/SecuROM rootkit

Some months ago, I installed the Spore Creature Creator and was totally unaware that like it came with the SecuROM rootkit.

(Oops... somehow posted it by accident before finishing...)

So since I do not intend to use Spore or the Creature Creator, I'd like to get rid of the SecuROM. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?
