Spybot won't update??

Okay, so I finally got a new PC and my tech guy downloaded and installed Spybot's newest version.

Immunization worked fine.

I went to update it today and it tells me no new updates available, yet I do see there were updates available on 4/16/08.

This is what is in my Update downloads logfiles.

If I click on Search for Updates in the main area when the program is opened, I get the following window. I don't even get the option to search for the updates. It just says there are no updates.

Clicking on update from the list on the left results in this window. Same results but I can at least click the search function.

I do not get to choose where to get the updates from as I did with v1.4.


Can someone please help with this? :sad:

Okay, I'll give it a try later and hope it updates okay. Will let you know. ;)

Yes, I read about that issue. I have SpywareBlaster also and hope that issue will be resolved as well.

Updated just fine now and no problems with SpywareBlaster either.

I would have never tried this new version with my ancient dinosaur of a computer (7 years old) but this new version rocks on my new PC!!
