Tagasaurus / zxcd.cfg is Eating My PC!

I've never contracted any major viruses, so I don't know where to get started. I keep getting these horrible popups (which are thankfully blocked) but occasionally an audio ad that is over a minute long will play which tends to shut down programs and it makes my computer lag like crazy, taking upwards of five minutes to boot up.

I keep reading about HijackThis or something. Is this a program that will give me the logs you need?
