Teamspeak/Ventrilo question

I play various online games and I'm looking into setting up a teamspeak/ventrilo server, I have an extra computer to run it off of(the server), but it connects to my router as does my main computer. I've noticed they have the same ip address, and I'm thinking if people tried to connect to the server what would happen. I'm pretty sure it wouldnt work, so I'm just asking if theres a way i could change my servers ip address so that people could connect to the teamspeak/ventrilo server. any ideas? Thanks

I assume you have a single residental account--most isp's have policies about a residental account running anything with "server-like functionality" i would check your isp's policies.
