I saw where you have helped someone else with this issue.

When I boot I get about 4 windows errors all referring to xlibgfl254.dll. It says it's a bad image, not a windows image, etc.

Later if I open Adobe Acrobat Reader, I get it again. I also get it on opening some other applications as well.

I bought RegCure, they advertised they could fix it. They ended up refunding my $30 because they could not fix it with RegCure but thought if I bought a different product it might work.

I am not a computer wizard by any means, so please give good directions.

I have not tried any of your products yet.

Please guide me.

I will close this thread, please start a new topic and post the HJT log into it. I will then move the result of the Kaspersky Anti-Virus scan into the new thread.

This particular anti-virus scanner does not remove infections, it is a diagnostic tool for our helpers.

We do not use tools during a cleanup that require purchase. No need to run another Spybot-S&D scan. ;)
